As per our Blue Lake Commissioner’s email, Oregon Metro stated on September 29th that the lab results from the apparent Blue Green Algae bloom showed cyanotoxin levels BELOW the Recreational Use Values for humans. The water was safe for people when the test was conducted, but it is known that pets are more susceptible. With the cooler, wet weather hopefully the bloom season is behind us.
