December 19, 1919 – June 15, 2016

Corinne Pfeiffer Tuttle was born in 1919 in Clark, SD and died June 15, 2016 in Kent, WA. She came to Oregon with her parents Harry and Frances and her brother Kedric, when she was 5. She was a 70 year resident of the Fairview-Gresham area and active in many community organizations including Fairview & Reynolds PTA, 10 year 4-H District leader, Interlachen Board of Directors (who honored her a with a 50 year achievement award). She was a long time Reynolds school district elementary school library aide and, after retirement, a dedicated classroom volunteer. Her creative sewing skills were legendary, sewing for countless wedding parties, rally squads, school plays and pageants & and any alteration project brought to her. She was an avid reader and shared her love of reading and learning with many others over the years. She enjoyed many hobbies – gardening, travel, crafts, photography, her knitting machine. Many retirement winters were spent at the Happy Wanderer in Indio CA. – she loved warm weather! Until 2014 she lived at Courtyard Fountains in Gresham.
She and her husband, Gordon (who died in 1988) bought a small house on Blue Lake in 1945, expanding it as the family grew. Later, they built a new home on Fairview Lake.
She is survived by 3 of her children Carol (Lynn), Donn (Rosie) and Anne (William), grandson DJ and 12 nieces and nephews. Son, Larry (Lori) passed away in 2015, brother, Ked (Fern) in 2012 and grandson, Patrick in 1993.
