    3. SECRETARY, Michelle Monson:
      No report.
    4. TREASURER, Roger Keast:
Roger informed us that all of the funds have been transferred to Oregon First Community Credit Union in Fairview, Oregon. The current total balance is $24,177.52, with $18,513.07 in the general fund and $5,664.45 in the Blue Lake reserve. We now have 93 paid members, 9 associate members, and 3 honarary members. Pedro’s payment for October and PGE’s on-line payment were approved along with checks 1010 through 1012 for property taxes (Lot 54 TL 600 and Ely 75 Ft. of Lot 5) and Corporation fees.
    5. FLPOA/IWPUD LIAISON COMMISSIONER, Debbie Weaver:
Debbie attended FLPOA’s recent meeting. There is on-going discussion of changes to the riparian zone limits. Also, FLPOA is considering a change of designation making Fairview Lake a “man-made lake.” There was talk about the wetlands northeast of Interlachen currently in development.
    6. BLUE LAKE COMMISSIONER, Steve Nelson:
      Excused. Steve has no report.
    7. ROADS AND PARKS COMMISSIONER, Tom Burns:
Tom shared that the recent heavy rains brought some flooding to Welsh Park. He wants to put in a birm to correct the problem.
  4. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES:
    1. SOCIAL COMMITTEE, Debbie Weaver:
We look forward to the Christmas events–caroling and a potluck at the Marking’s home, the Friday Frolic holiday gala at the Keast’s home, and visits from our jolly St. Nick.
  5. OLD BUSINESS:
    1. Welsh Park/Ownership and property tax payments:
After much debate, the board came to the conclusion that the best solution to provide an easement for PUD, and to correct a misdesignation that occurred 20 years or so ago, is to hire a lawyer to have the entire park designated as a private park. We need a quick claim deed. Bob Torheim and Tom Burns agreed to pursue actions needed to get the documentation in order.
  6. NEW BUSINESS:
Tom Burns reported that Karen Whitehead volunteered to be the Membership Chairperson following Ted’s resignation. A motion was approved allowing the President, Bob Torheim, to ask for Karen’s acceptance of the position to fill in for the rest of the board’s term.
Thank you, Karen! And thanks to Steve Nelson, Roger Keast, and Tom Burns for filling in and always helping to make our community strong by encouraging membership in Interlachen, Inc.

The next Board Meeting will be held on:

MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 2015 AT 6:30 PM
Confirmation and location to be announced.
