Meeting Called to Order: 7:15 P.M.

Moved and seconded to approve July, 2013 minutes, following revision/clarification; There was no progress on the construction of the Fairview Lake Boat Ramp.

Officer Reports:

SECRETARY – Lance West
No Report.

TREASURER – Roger Keast
Roger presented the current reconciliation. Funds available:
General Purpose Fund: $21,125.21
Blue Lake Reserve: $ 7,160.11
Road Reserve: $ 5,200.00
Total Cash: $33,485.32

Approved checks # 1241 – 1247.

FIPOA/IWPUD – Liaison Commissioner – Bob Torheim
Bob reported good news; The advisory is lifted in Fairview Lake. Swimmers are welcome.

ROADS AND PARKS – Tom Burns
Tom has removed the retaining wall at the Blue Lake easement. Tom is requesting funds to purchase concrete blocks from Willamette Greystone in the amount of $580.66. Labor cost to construct the wall is estimated to be approximately $240.00. Roger Keast made motion to approve fund request; request seconded by Ted Smits.

MEMBERSHIP COMMISSIONER – Bettianne Goetz
Bettianne made a motion to remove Lachenview from the membership list. Bettianne is forming the Lachenview committee. Members volunteering to join the Lachenview Committee include Roger Keast, Erika Teyema and Sue Meyers.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE – Erika Teyema
Erika announced that there will be a picnic at the park on Thursday the 15th. The theme is ‘Clam Bake.’ They will be playing movies and making popcorn.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/COMMENTS
The letter has been approved regarding the funerary contamination of the soil at the East end of Blue Lake Road. The letter will be sent to Metro County and the appropriate State Representatives.
