This will save $21 per month on our utility bill. COMMISSIONERS’ REPORTS

Blue Lake Commissioner – Jeff Townsend

Noise from Blue Lake County Park activities, especially those now on the west end, need to be monitored and the Fairview city decibel level needs to be adhered. This will be addressed with Mike Brown who is the park manager. Any resident concerns regarding this or any other park matter should be related to him at 503.665.6918.

Roads and Parks – Curt Knight

Curt discussed storage shed options including building or adding on to the pump house as well as purchasing a pre-made building. The first option would involve permits, pouring of a concrete slab and would require us to get construction bids which Curt estimated in the multiple thousands of dollars. A pre-made storage shed can be purchased from Lowes for $849 (8X10 vinyl). A motion was made to purchase a storage facility in an amount less than $1000. The motion was seconded by Mel and passed. Road work has been delayed for a period of 3 months as PUD will soon begin work installing laterals. Finally, the speed bumps will be repainted as soon as the weather permits.

There was also some discussion about the renting of tables for the pancake breakfast as well as other social events. A motion was made to purchase five tables by Erika Teyema. It was seconded by Roger Keast and was passed.

Unleashed dogs that are leaving their mess on the Blue Lake Easement will be addressed. A letter will be sent to the owners and copied to animal control. A motion to purchase a picnic table for the Blue Lake Easement was also approved. Keys for this area are available to all members.
