Abandoned car warnings and neighborhood public health and safety warnings appear to have worked. The abandoned van is to be moved this month. Neighborhood thefts are occurring on both sides and ends of Interlachen Lane. Most break-ins have taken place early in the morning after residents have left for work. Please lock all car doors! Many cars were left unlocked giving thieves access to garage remotes and homes. Report all burglaries to the board AND to the police and continue to watch our neighborhood for suspicious behavior. Nothing is presently new with the ALCOA impact. Please continue to watch the Columbia Cascade River District website for further information.

A motion was made to pay the $625 bill for the new speed bump, patchwork and gravel work. It was seconded and passed unanimously. Motions to pay for landscape and maintenance, the annual non-profit fee, and reflective paint for the speed bump were also passed.

Current Balance – $19,196.78

ING Direct CD – $10,487.65

Blue Lake Commissioner – Lance Pattock for Joe Horton

Joe will need to update the Blue Lake Rules for the 2008 boating season. A response from Terri Dressler was received regarding a series of meetings to discuss the health of the lake and the response the association and Metro will take this coming year. They are eager to start meeting in January. The Lake Committee will need to meet this month to develop an agenda for the upcoming meetings. Joe or Lance will send a follow up letter to Terri thanking her for her response and let her know we will begin developing that agenda.

Road and Parks Commissioner – Curt Knight Interim

The reflective paint on the new speed bump was washed somewhat out during all the fall rains. Curt will repaint in the spring.

Membership – Sue Meyers

Sue was advised of new residents. She plans to meet and deliver welcome packets in the weeks to come.

Social – Bettianne Goetz

Flyers are out regarding the Caroling Party for December 18th. Santa will come down the lane on December 20. A special thanks to Rob and Eva Johnson, Tom Walker, and Carl and Mary Marking for their involvement and support in these holiday events.

Tom Burns has been emailed. The Nominations Committee needs to begin their action for the Annual Meeting.

The Election Committee needs to find a Roads/Parks Commissioner and FLPOA/IWPUD Commissioner for the 2008 Board. We are currently researching John Andersen to be a guest speaker for the annual meeting to discuss ALCOA property development impact on our neighborhood.

Next meeting will be January 7th, 2008 at 7pm at Lance Pattock’s home.

Meeting adjourned.
