COMMISSIONER REPORTS

Blue Lake Commissioner – Joe Horton

Joe advised that Metro and DEQ are not cooperating with our lake consultant, Joe Eilers. We now have a certified diver for the lake – Rick Meyers, who will periodically check the integrity of the Solarbees and notify Joe if any maintenance is needed. Water quality is reported to be much improved along with improved fishing. Fish have been observed feeding at the base of the Solarbees. The need for nutria control was raised.

Road and Parks Commissioner – Curt Knight Interim

Landscaping—The charge for trimming the Blue Lake vacant lot was $900. While this seems high, the landscaper (Chavez) trimmed more than usual (the trimming was $300 higher for the additional work). Lance and Curt monitored the job.

Roads and parks–Curt is contacting Ferris boys for help on road.

Membership – Sue Meyer

Non-members continue to be contacted.

FLOPOA – Vacant
