Pictures from Santa’s visit on Interlachen Lane are posted on the website.  The Annual Easter Egg hunt will be held April 7 at 1:00pm.

Options to improve the water quality and weed problem of Blue Lake were discussed. Options discussed included Sonar/herbicide, Solar Bee, and submergible pumps.  A letter has been sent to Rod Park, Metro Councilor, District 1 and Jim Desmond, Metro Blue Lake Supervisor, requesting an Emergency Meeting for the Concerns and Possible Solutions of Saving Blue Lake.  Meeting date is to be announced.  Representatives from Solar Bee have also been asked to attend.

The new boat launch post will be in place before April.
The Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Boating Safety Class graduated three members.  If this important class was missed, it can be done on-line.


A new Interlachen phone list is underway.  Please submit any changes.  Email addresses will also be provided when available.
The 5 year commitment for the lighting contract is up.  It will now be month to month.
A local artist has been hired for the construction of a new sign for the entrance to Interlachen Lane.
Oregon State has again granted Association the 401C3 (charitable organization).

Preparations for the Interlachen Association Annual Meeting are underway.  It will be held the 2nd Monday of April at the Blue Lake County House.  The new Troutdale Historical Society Video will be viewed.  Copies of the video, T-shirts, and flags will also be available for purchase.  Positions up for election include President, Treasurer, and Road and Parks Commissioner. By-law revisions will also be put up for a vote.

The next board meeting will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Teyema House at 4:00 pm.  (20445 NE Interlachen)
