The next picnic is Thursday, September 21, 6-9. This will be a barbeque and a blue grass band, the Columbia Cutups, has been hired. The band will play from 6:30 to 8:00.
HISTORIAN: Kay Moultrie reported that there will be a display in Fairview City Hall about our neighborhood by September.
MEMBERSHIP: Sandy Pattock is doing a great job signing up new and old members especially in light of the many homes that have sold recently.

Invoices have gone out to non-members who are using the lake.

Our community reorganization process continues. This month’s discussion centered around the possibility of a PUD replacing Interlachen. Pros: financing would be distributed evenly. Con: It is not voluntary. Interlachen would probably be dissolved.

We have a new secretary that will begin the position in September. Her name is Erika Teyema. They are new residents in Dennis Meyers’ house.

The next meeting will be at the Goetz’s on Thursday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m. THIS IS A DIFFERENT DATE THAN THE ONE DISCUSSSED AT OUR AUGUST MEETING.

Respectively submitted,
Al Goetz, acting secretary
