Treasurers report: Budget vs Actual March 2005-February 2006 = total income $39,507.00 total expenses $14,718, total overall $24,789. We have received payment for next year’s annual dues from 65 homeowners through March 10. Three homeowners paid the full rate of $150.00 for the annual homeowner’s dues for next year when they qualify for the $135.00 discounted rate. These homeowners will be refunded $15.00 each.
Blue Lake Commissioner: No Report
IWPUD/FLPOA Liaison: Committee members have been having trouble arranging a time to meet that is convenient for everyone all at the same time. Lance tried to back a large boat down the east side of Nick & Maidie Welch Park to determine if that side would be viable for a boat ramp. That side proved very difficult to do as there is a point where the driver loses sight of the boat due to the steep & curving driveway. The west side is highly recommended due to the ease of backing a boat down the ramp. A bid of $5,325.00 from Action Asphalt was submitted. If anyone wants to know details of the bid please contact Lance Pattock.
Road & Parks Commissioner: Terry reported that Abel Chavez is once again maintaining our parks.
Social Committee: Bettianne is happy to report that all eight committee members want to stay on for another year. Others have asked to join the committee as well. There will be a meeting March 25th to establish next years events and to determine the themes for the picnics that are enjoyed by so many members and nonmembers alike. The next event is the annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 15 at the Nick & Maidie Welsh park at 1:00 P.M.
Old Business: One key to the safe deposit box has been located. A fee will have to be paid to drill the lock out of the box since a second is needed and is still missing. If anyone has the key please contact Dianna Gould.
By-Laws Committee: By-Law Revisions will be mailed to members by the deadline as stated in the current bylaw. Please look these over and make any notations on your copy as they will be voted on by the general assembly at the annual meeting. If you need a copy of the bylaw please go to www.interlacheninc.com and print a copy so that you have a comparison. Also please bring your copy to the annual meeting. Contact any board member if you don’t have access to either a computer or a printer.
New Business: A suggestion was made to explore the possibility to remodel the gazebo to include display areas for the history committee as well as to provide protection from the weather. Next meeting: ANNUAL MEETING, MONDAY, APRIL 10, 2006; TIME: 7:00 P.M., LOCATION: THE LAKE HOUSE AT BLUE LAKE
