PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Lance Pattock

Abandoned car warnings and neighborhood public health and safety warnings appear to have worked. The abandoned van is to be moved this month. Neighborhood thefts are occurring on both sides and ends of Interlachen Lane. Most break-ins have taken place early in the morning after residents have left for work. Please lock all car doors! Many cars were left unlocked giving thieves access to garage remotes and homes. Report all burglaries to the board AND to the police and continue to watch our neighborhood for suspicious behavior. Nothing is presently new with the ALCOA impact. Please continue to watch the Columbia Cascade River District website for further information.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Lance Pattock

Lance reported that Dave Shult was disappointed he received a neighborhood action letter. He was told it was about blackberry bushes in his backyard and was also alerted to the fact that several letters were sent to various homeowners. All neighbors need to be aware that overgrown blackberry bushes attract rats. A call will also be placed to Larry Tuttle regarding the Van-Marter-Sanders car on Ann Tuttle’s property.

Meeting called to Order

July minutes approved

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Lance Pattock

Fourth of July events and fireworks seemed to be well managed this year. He reported that the bollard at the boat launch is helping keep off all unauthorized boats. There was some discussion regarding the wake board tournament. Any damage by the wake board show towboats (broken moorings, lashings, or seawall issues) should be reported to the board. The wake created more potential seawall damage this year. Large numbers of weeds were also uprooted releasing much more phosphorous. Letters are to be sent to promoters and to Metro. There also have been complaints about boat operators coming to close to rentals. Please watch your distances and not give them any reason to complain.
